About Us

Cornwall is our most south westerly county, making Cornwall's climate mild and perfect for camping holidays. Its noted for its coast and stunning landscape, predominantly moorland. Cornwall is a major tourism centre in the UK so you will find plenty to do, even on rainy days.

Welcome to Lavender Fields Campsite in Carnhell Green just on the outskirts of Hayle to the west, and Camborne to the east in Cornwall. We welcome caravans, tourers and tents to our quiet and peaceful campsite.

The quiet hamlet of Carnhell Green makes an ideal base for holidaymakers, surfers and walkers exploring the South West of Cornwall, with its fantastic coves, unspoilt sandy beaches and breathtaking coastline. We are 10/15 minutes away from the National Trust beach of Godrevy and its famous lighthouse.

The tranquil setting of Lavender Fields campsite has hardly changed since we started apart from the continuous planting of shrubs, bushes and lavender. This un-spoilt site has been loved by many a family who return year after year. Indeed when some book, they ask if we have changed anything because they like it just the way it is!

Set in a pretty countryside just 10 miles from the centre of St. Ives, this small quiet family run site is ideally situated for exploring West Cornwall with its many fine beaches, dramatic coastline, routed walks, fishing villages and gardens.

 

We are also within easy reach of sea and air links to the Isles of Scilly.


Popular attractions include Lands End, 20 miles, St Michaels Mount, 10 miles, St Ives and the Tate Gallery, 8 miles, The Minack Theatre, 10 miles and the Eden Project, 30 miles.

Set amidst the rural splendour of Cornwall, Lavender Fields touring park is a quiet, secluded (but not isolated) privately run park, conveniently situated central to both the north and south coast, just 1.5 mile from town of Camborne and 10 miles from Truro. Both towns have full services and leisure centres and a range of amenities.

It has easy access to many interesting places offering walkers and cyclists varied routes and for wildlife enthusiasts, opportunities to see many birds and animals. The park provides an ideal centre for easy exploration of Cornwall's heritage.


We pride ourselves on a quiet and well kept relaxed site. We have 21 hard standing pitches and plenty of grass pitches set in a level field.

Our Site is suitable for all ages and groups and we allow dogs as long as they are kept under control on a lead. We have toilets on site as well as electric, fresh water and chemical disposal points.
